All 3 to 4-year-olds in England are entitled to 15 hours of free early education or childcare per year. This equates to 570 hours and is usually taken as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. This is Government funded and runs in term time only, so will not include school holidays.
Some 2-year-olds are also eligible.
